New Hotel Opens On The Shore of Keuka Lake

Hampton Inn opened its doors summer of 2016. It’s a four-story hotel with 72 rooms that includes meeting spaces, exercise room, lakefront patio bar and an indoor pool. The hotel provided around 25 new jobs within the community. It is locally owned, but operated under franchise license agreement with Hampton Inn, part of Hilton Worldwide.

Keuka College Awarded

Keuka College awarded $1.1 Million for Renovations

Keuka College has been awarded $1.1 Million to go towards college renovations of Keuka’s Dahlstrom Student Center, which in total is a $12 Million dollar project. With $1 Million of the $1.1 million going towards Dahlstrom, the remaining $100,000 from the grant will go towards renovating Point Neamo waterfront on Keuka Lake. College President Jorge L. Diaz-Herrera said that both projects are expected to start in summer of 2017.

Keuka Commons Opens

August 18, 2016 Keuka College opened its doors to its first new building in 40 years.Keuka Commons is now the new home of the bookstore, Health and Counseling center, Division of Business and Management; the Center for Professional Studies; the Wertman Office of Digital Education (WODE); the Center for Business Analytics & Health Informatics; and the Wolf Den Cafe.The Commons also provided three – state-of-the-art classroom spaces that include new technology, as well as 45 new faculty and staff offices, and three conference rooms.
