FLEDC Supports Local Artists

FLEDC continues to support local artists and the trade in local crafts through its loan funds, and in early May 2 new loans were approved.

Keuka Inspirations, was approved for a loan to expand its retail gift operations at its location on Route 54A between Keuka College and Branchport and also to open a shop at the Windmill.  Keuka Inspirations has been owned and operated for over 13 years by Mike and Carol Steppe, longtime residents of the community.  Stop by to check out their goods at either location!

Local artist Dan Mitchell started Staving Artist Woodwork a number of years ago with FLEDC support, and we are thrilled to support the opening of his new store at 109 Main Street in Penn Yan.  At this location Dan will be exhibiting and selling his creative carvings made from used wine barrels.  Please visit him as soon as he opens in late May or early June!
